As part of the nomination process, the Memory of the World committee needs to gather information about the nominator, the nominating organisation and the independent experts who offer testimony.
We consider the email address and contact information of the nominator, and the email address and contact information of the independent experts to be private. This information will be kept strictly confidential within the New Zealand Memory of the World committee.
When a nomination is successful, and an item inscribed on the New Zealand Register, the completed nomination form will be published online as part of the Register. Individuals names and the names of institutions will be published. The personal contact details of both the nominator and independent experts will be removed and will not be published.
If you have questions concerning our privacy practices at any stage of the nomination process, please feel free to contact us.
